*Now with AC* Home located in Bay Park, San Diego, CA - Beautifully furnished and ready to rent! This spacious 3 bedroom/2 bathroom, private home is located in the hills above Mission Bay and is perfect for your family vacation. Lots of outdoor space with tables, Jacuzzi J-215 two person hot tub, outdoor Joola Ping Pong table and a gas BBQ to help you take advantage of the beautiful year-round temperate San Diego weather. Step out onto the living room balcony to soak in the panoramic view of the 4000 acre Mission Bay Park with the SeaWorld fireworks displays every night in the summer. Winter will provide you the spectacular sunsets and on cloudless evenings, maybe even a glimpse of the green flash, just as the sun sinks into the ocean!
The living room has a table for six by the windows for dining with a view plus a gas fireplace and large Plasma TV. The lovely California style kitchen is open to the living room making sure the cook never misses out on a sunset or conversation. There is a queen bedroom upstairs with it's own patio and bathroom and two more bedrooms downstairs, one with a CA king bed, patio, and TV. On the other side of the bathroom with shower, the second downstairs bedroom is furnished with a double/single bunkbed. Sleeps six total. Ceiling Fans in every room provide a means to move the ocean breezes throughout the house. New mini split heat pump with a terminal in each room provides heat/AC. Gas insert Fireplace helps keep it cozy during our mild winters. There is a direct access into the house from the garage and the garage door has a opener. No parking in garage. Garage is available to foot traffic, as well as it gives access to two washers and two dryers as well as beach chairs and beach toys that are stored there..
This lovely house is perfectly situated: a 1/2 mile from Mission Bay Visitor's Center entrance, 1.4 miles to SeaWorld and 3 miles to the Pacific Ocean at Crystal Pier with it's miles of boardwalk and wide white sand beaches. Old Town, the Gas Lamp district, Little Italy, the Convention Center, Embarcadero area with it's floating museums, lovely Balboa Park and the famous San Diego Zoo are all just 3 to 8 miles away.

A Relaxing Get-a-Way
David W.We stayed in Carolyn's house for four days in August, and it was perfect. We had to use the air conditioner on the first day we arrived as the house was hot and stuffy from being closed. But after that, we so enjoyed leaving the windows open to enjoy the amazing coastal breeze. The house's location on a hill overlooking the bay offers amazing views to go along with that incredible refreshing breeze. The house was perfectly clean, beautifully decorated, the kitchen well-equipped, and the huge couch offered plenty of room to lounge and just relax. And that's what this house is perfect for: relaxation. Forget your troubles and endless to-do lists, and just relax in this beautiful home.
Mother-son weekend in San Diego

The kitchen was well-equipped, the views from the deck overlooking Fiesta Island were fantastic, the neighborhood was quiet, and the hot tub in the backyard was a wonderful touch. Joe M.First things first, Carolyn is a veteran of VRBO. She has her stuff in order and knows how to make sure you are prepared and informed. Tactically speaking, she is an ace. I would definitely work with her again. She is available for questions and concerns (which we had none) and was attentive to us at every turn of the path. If you enjoy sunsets on the water, this place has a balcony that you will be highly satisfied with. Bay Park area has a lot to offer and I enjoyed the Bay Park Fish Market very much. You are so close to the zoo and the gaslamp area and Little Italy as well. Kids enjoyed the hot tub and the area was quiet and safe. All the streaming services worked and the place was clean. Highly recommend.
